New Start Checking

NEW START CHECKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

If you know that you have been reported to ChexSystemsSM, we require you to resolve outstanding deficient balances if $1,000.00 or more at any financial institution.

Becoming a member and opening a New Start Checking account is a quick and easy process… all you have to do is deposit $20.00 into a savings account and $20.00 into your new checking account.

Once a member with a New Start Checking account, you can access your money through ATMs and other electronic systems using your new Visa® check card.

Plus after twelve consecutive months of maintaining your New Start Checking account in good standing, with less than three unpaid non-sufficient funds against your account, you become eligible to upgrade to a Free, Regular or Essential Checking account!

There are a few other rules, restrictions and fees that apply.

  1. Limited daily account withdrawals of $100.00
  2. Limited $100.00 immediate deposit availability
  3. Three day deposit hold on all checks
  4. A monthly $19.50 fee will be assessed until 12 consecutive months have passed with no more than three unpaid non-sufficient funds against the account
  5. Must provide repayment documentation for prior losses and fees in excess of $1,000.00 if applicable
  6. Account is subject to excessive usage and abuse fees
