Becoming a member and opening a New Start Checking account is a quick and easy process… all you have to do is deposit $20.00 into a savings account and $20.00 into your new checking account. Once a member with a New Start Checking account, you can access your money through ATMs and other electronic systems using your new Visa® check card. Plus after twelve consecutive months of maintaining your New Start Checking account in good standing, with less than three unpaid non-sufficient funds against your account, you become eligible to upgrade to a Green, Regular or Essential Checking account! There are a few other rules, restrictions and fees that apply.
