If you are interested in applying for a New Start Checking Account, first find out if you meet the requirements for eligibility to join Nevada Federal Credit Union. NEW START CHECKING TERMS & CONDITIONS To open a New Start Checking Account with Nevada Federal, you must become a member and start direct deposit of net pay. Membership is obtained by depositing $20.00 into a savings account. A minimum deposit of $20.00 is also required to open a checking account. A monthly fee of $19.50 will be assessed until the account has been properly managed for twelve consecutive months. Proper account management is defined as having no more than three Non-Sufficient Funds (N.S.F.) paid or unpaid year to date and no memos with restrictive instructions from the collections department.
